2025 SDB Conference

The conference was held in Las Vegas on Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12.

We were thrilled to have a keynote address by Chien-Ming Huang, PhD, and a demonstration of AI projects by the CTY Research Team and colleagues from the Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering. Our conference focused on the topic, "Harnessing the Power of Artificial Intelligence in Education." Our fellows workshopped ideas about how to incorporate artificial intelligence in education settings as well as brainstormed what would be necessary in guides on AI for both instructors and students.

In additions to the workshop, we inducted an outstanding new class of SDB fellows who joined new and veteran fellows in the dynamic and informative conference.
